Introduction to IAI

The Indonesian Pharmacists association (IAI) is a national organization that formed to support, enhance, and protect the pharmacist in providing their professional practices. Under the IAI Chairman leadership, we serve more than 23.000 pharmacists across Indonesia, and we have seven Special Interest Groups based on the field of practice, and young pharmacist group (IYPG).

A trusted healthcare professional

After the transformation from Indonesian Bachelor of Pharmacy Association (ISFI) in 2009, IAI aimed to bring pharmacist to be a trusted healthcare professional. Through our program, we are working to develop a national recognition system and advance pharmacy practice for Indonesian pharmacist to transform their role in healthcare system.

Improving Indonesia’s public health

As the most accessible healthcare professional in the community, pharmacist can improve public health by ensuring rational use of medicine in all primary health care settings. IAI is known by their tagline, “No pharmacist, No service” that show the commitment to do the practice responsibly. We still and will continue our work to support our member in enhancing their skill and knowledge, in order to sharpen pharmacist’s role in healthcare system, that will improve Indonesia’s public health.
