PENDAHULUAN

Profesi apoteker memiliki peran yang semakin strategis dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan, baik di tingkat nasional maupun global. Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang farmasi telah membawa perubahan yang signifikan terhadap praktik kefarmasian, mencakup penemuan obat baru, personalisasi terapi, serta integrasi kecerdasan buatan dan teknologi digital dalam pelayanan farmasi. Di samping itu, tantangan global seperti pandemi, resistensi antimikroba, krisis obat, serta perubahan kebijakan farmasi menuntut apoteker untuk terus beradaptasi dan meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam menghadapi era transformasi kesehatan.

Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan (PIT) Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia (IAI) merupakan forum akademik dan profesional yang mempertemukan para apoteker dari berbagai bidang praktik untuk berbagi pengetahuan, pengalaman, serta inovasi terkini dalam dunia farmasi. Melalui kegiatan ini, para peserta akan memperoleh wawasan mendalam mengenai perkembangan terkini dalam industri farmasi, pendidikan kefarmasian, serta peran strategis apoteker dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan.

PIT IAI 2026 mengusung tema "One Health, One Pharmacy: Synergy for National Resilience", yang menyoroti pentingnya kinerja, inovasi, serta kolaborasi dalam transformasi pelayanan kesehatan di masa depan. Tema ini dipilih untuk menjawab berbagai tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi oleh profesi apoteker dalam era globalisasi dan digitalisasi, termasuk pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan dalam farmasi, peran farmasi dalam pengobatan berbasis biologi, serta kontribusi apoteker dalam menyediakan obat yang aman, efektif, dan terjangkau bagi masyarakat.

Kegiatan ini akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 6-8 Agustus 2026 di Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention, Medan, Sumatera Utara, dengan menghadirkan berbagai pembicara nasional maupun internasional yang memiliki keahlian di bidang farmasi, kesehatan, serta teknologi. PIT IAI 2026 akan menjadi ajang diskusi ilmiah yang membahas berbagai aspek kefarmasian, mulai dari penelitian dan inovasi farmasi, praktik klinis, farmasi komunitas, farmasi industri, farmasi militer, hingga farmasi kosmetik dan kedokteran olahraga. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat jejaring profesional antarapoteker, akademisi, industri farmasi, serta pemangku kebijakan guna mendukung kemajuan profesi apoteker di Indonesia.

Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan apoteker Indonesia dapat semakin siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dan berkontribusi lebih luas dalam sistem kesehatan nasional maupun global. Selain itu, PIT IAI 2026 juga menjadi wadah bagi para apoteker muda untuk berperan aktif dalam membangun masa depan farmasi yang lebih inovatif, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat.

Mengkaji strategi kebijakan farmasi dalam penetapan harga obat, distribusi farmasi, serta upaya advokasi dalam menjamin ketersediaan obat bagi masyarakat luas, terutama dalam kondisi krisis kesehatan global.

Meningkatkan Kompetensi Apoteker dalam Farmasi Klinis dan Pelayanan Pasien
Memperkuat peran apoteker sebagai pendidik dan konsultan dalam pengelolaan terapi berbasis farmakogenomik, personalisasi terapi, serta penguatan literasi kesehatan bagi pasien dan masyarakat.

Mengeksplorasi peran apoteker dalam memastikan keamanan dan efektivitas obat tradisional serta pengembangan formulasi kosmetik berbasis bioteknologi dengan pendekatan ilmiah yang sesuai dengan regulasi farmasi global.

Mempersiapkan Apoteker Menghadapi Tantangan Global dan Kesehatan Publik
Menyusun strategi kesiapsiagaan farmasi dalam menghadapi krisis global seperti pandemi, resistensi antimikroba, serta pengelolaan farmasi dalam kedokteran olahraga, farmasi militer, dan farmasi veteriner guna mendukung kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan.

INTRODUCTION

The pharmacist profession plays an increasingly strategic role in healthcare systems at both the national and global levels. Advances in pharmaceutical science and technology have significantly transformed pharmacy practice, including the discovery of new medicines, personalized therapy, and the integration of artificial intelligence and digital technologies into pharmaceutical services. At the same time, global challenges such as pandemics, antimicrobial resistance, drug shortages, and evolving pharmaceutical policies require pharmacists to continuously adapt and enhance their competencies to meet the demands of healthcare transformation.

The 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting (Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan/PIT) of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (Ikatan Apoteker Indonesia/IAI) serves as an academic and professional forum that brings together pharmacists from diverse areas of practice to exchange knowledge, experiences, and the latest innovations in pharmacy. Through this event, participants will gain comprehensive insights into current developments in the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical education, and the strategic role of pharmacists in improving the quality of healthcare services.

PIT IAI 2026 carries the theme "One Health, One Pharmacy: Synergy for National Resilience," highlighting the importance of performance, innovation, and collaboration in transforming future healthcare services. This theme addresses the challenges and opportunities faced by the pharmacy profession in the era of globalization and digitalization, including the application of artificial intelligence in pharmacy, the role of pharmacy in biologics-based therapies, and pharmacists' contributions to ensuring the availability of safe, effective, and affordable medicines for the public.

The event will be held on August 6-8, 2026, at Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention, Medan, North Sumatra, featuring distinguished national and international speakers with expertise in pharmacy, healthcare, and technology. PIT IAI 2026 will provide a scientific platform for discussions covering a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical fields, including pharmaceutical research and innovation, clinical pharmacy, community pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, military pharmacy, cosmetic pharmacy, and sports pharmacy. The meeting also aims to strengthen professional networks among pharmacists, academics, the pharmaceutical industry, and policymakers to support the advancement of the pharmacy profession in Indonesia.

Through this event, Indonesian pharmacists are expected to become better prepared to address future challenges and make broader contributions to national and global healthcare systems. Furthermore, PIT IAI 2026 provides an opportunity for young pharmacists to actively participate in shaping a more innovative, collaborative, and patient-centered future for pharmacy while improving the quality of life of the community.
